Apple accused again of presenting 'inaccurate' evidence against Samsung
spot the difference?
Now it seems that in one of the lawsuits, which is ongoing in the court of Hague, the evidence provided by Apple has been found to be less than accurate, again. According to a report in webwereld, the visual evidence provided by Apple and its lawyers contained images of Apple’s iPhone 3G, as well Samsung’s Galaxy smartphone both placed side by side, in an attempt to point out the similarities. In a bid to do so, it would seem that Apple manipulated the image of Samsung’s Galaxy S smartphone to match the size of the iPhone. This is of course yet to be proven in a court of law. Some facts here - the dimensions of the Galaxy S are 122.4 x 64.2 mm, while the same for the iPhone 3G comes to 115.5 x 62.1 mm. Post this revelation, Apple did come out saying that dimension-wise, at least there were ‘some non-identical elements’. The report further suggests that at least 6 percent of the original image of Samsung’s Galaxy S smartphone has been touched up by Apple. Again these are just allegations for now.
