AP CM, Governor congratulate Saina

Hyderabad, Aug 4 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu tonight congratulated shuttler Saina Nehwal on winning the bronze medal in badminton in the Olympics. "You have made India in general and Andhra Pradesh in particular proud by winning the bronze in badminton at the Olympics," they said in separate congratulatory messages. "After Gagan Narang, Saina is the second sportsperson from AP to win a medal at the Olympics," the Chief Minister said. State Sports Minister V Vasantha Kumar and YSR Congress honorary president Y S Vijaya also congratulated Saina on her achievement.
