Tirunelveli, Feb 16 (PTI): Tamil Nadu Revenue Minister K A Sengottayan today claimed the administrative capabilities of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa would enable her to not only lead the nation, but also solve inter-state disputes. He said the scene had now shifted to 'centre stage' after the party got a clear mandate in the last assembly polls with leaders of national parties now even prepared voluntarily to propose her name for the leadership of the nation. The minister said that Jayalalithaa, unlike arch rival and former Chief minister Karunanidhi, who used to routinely write letters to the Prime Minister, urging his intervention to solve them, had taken action to bring to an end disputes like Mullaperiyar, Cauvery and Palar river water issue. Sengottaiyan, who was addressing AIADMK executives and workers of Tirunelveli urban district, said Jayalaithaa had formulated schemes for the benefit of the poor, inspired by lofty ideals of former Chief Minister and her mentor, the late M G Ramachandran. He urged party workers to ensure AIADMK's victory in the March 18 Sankarankovil bypolls.
