Mercedes-Benz has brought in a replacement for the SLS AMG - the SLS AMG GT. The newest AMG in the line-up is powered by a 6.2-litre V8 engine which makes 583PS of power (up by 20PS) and 650Nm of torque. Available for sale from November this year


India-bound 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine from Ford wins the 'International Engine of the Year' award at the Engine Expo in Germany


Audi has dished out details of its new RS4 Avant. The wagon boasts of a 4.2-litre engine with a full blown 450PS of power and torque of 430Nm. It is mated to a 7-speed S tronic transmission and Audi claims that the Avant will hit 0-100kmph in only 4.7s and deliver 9.35kmpl at the same time


Tata owned Jaguar Land Rover is looking at setting up a manufacturing plant in India.The manufacturing facility will also manufacture engines and if sources are to believed, Gujarat and Maharashtra are the two states which have found favour with JLR
