Review: Audi's new state of the art service facility

Audi the German luxury car maker has come up with a new state of the art service facility at Mathura road in Delhi. The 20,000sq ft facility features covered servicing bays, occupying 14000sq ft with a capacity to service 16 cars a day. The facility also has additional 8 bays to accommodate and service accident cars along with aluminum and steel repair systems. Following the philosophy of Vorsprung durch Technik, the new facility has technicians trained by Audi, to ensure proper use of tools and technology thereby complying with the benchmark Audi standards. The high tech facility was set up to meet the growing demands of the car. Meanwhile Audi announced a 64% increase in sales, with 1449 cars sold in the period of January- October 2009 as opposed to 884 cars sold during January- October 2008. The new facility in Delhi reflects this ideology and reaffirms our commitment to Audi owners in India," he added. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Raghav Chandra, Managing Director, Audi Delhi said, "We are delighted to offer this world class after sales service facility, modeled on global parameters, to Audi customers in Delhi. The brand Audi has been extremely well-received in our market and the launch of this facility will enable us to further reiterate the Audi brand promise of world class products and premium service to our customers."

The service facility is the first of its kind Aluminum body repair facility in India, and meets Audi's rigid standards of technology and workmanship. Equipped with latest tools and sophisticated equipment, imported from various parts of the world, the Aluminum Centre is a significant step to ensure the highest level in body repair quality in India. Spread over an area of more than 20,000 sq ft including covered service bays of 14,000 sq ft, housing service and body shop facilities, it has a capacity to service 16 cars per day and an additional capacity of 8 bays for accidental care. The technicians, trained by Audi, ensure the proper use of approved repair equipment, tools and technologies to meet Audi standards. Audi India had earlier announced its year-to-date growth at an impressive 64 percent (Jan-Oct 2009: 1,449 cars; Jan-Oct 2008: 884 cars).
 
Audi India has been instrumental in creating new benchmarks in terms of sales and service thereby establishing Audi as a manufacturer of progressive, sophisticated and technically superior luxury cars. The consistent sales growth is also a strong indication of the increasing familiarity and wide acceptance of the brand by car enthusiasts across the country.

The entire Audi model range, comprising the new Audi Q7, the Audi Q5, the new Audi A6, the Audi A8, the Audi A4,the Audi TT and the super sports car Audi R8 is available at 12 dealerships across the country: in Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad,Chennai, Kolkata and Kochi."
