There have been reports in the market that Renault are reluctant to allow their partner Nissan to produce their own version of the Duster
. But we can confirm that there will be one from the Japanese manufacturer by the next festive season in October. As has been the precedent with the Renault-Nissan alliance there will be only a cosmetic change in Nissan's version of the Duster. Also it will be a role reversal this time. So far Nissan have been launching their mass market cars first, of which Renault then produces their own version. This time it's the other way around. We expect the price to remain the same but we hope Nissan will bring in a 4x4 variant also. That would shake some feathers.
