Haley Davidson has announced the initiation of its selection process for its exclusive dealerships.The company plans to conduct dealership camps in New Delhi and the NCR region on the November 1 and November 2 in order to give applicants thorough information on the requirements for opening dealerships. As part of the selection process, Harley-Davison will also hold dealership camps in New Delhi on November 1 and 2, 2009 which will give the interested applicants an opportunity to meet with Harley-Davidson's representatives to guide the applicants through the requirements for opening Harley-Davidson dealerships in the region. Harley-Davidson also announced that the deadline for dealership applications has been extended to November 2, 2009 given the forthcoming festive season and in order for all interested companies or individuals to apply for dealerships in their regions. Moreover,Harley-Davidson is also open to receiving indications of interest across all cities in India for future development.Announcing the extension of the dealership application deadline and the dealer camp, Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-DavidsonIndia said, "We have had an overwhelming response so far and are grateful for the interest shown by the applicants. Given the legacy of Harley-Davidson, the selection process will evaluate the applicants understanding of the brand and delivering the brand experience to customers, as well as their business experience."
