EICMA 2012 - Benelli BN600

Benelli turned 100 years old in 2011 but have had a coloured past with plenty of ups and downs, most recent of which was their acquisition by Chinese motor group Quinjiang. Benelli showed off an all new 600cc in-line four cylinder powered naked bike called the BN600. Peak power is quoted at 82PS(11500rpm) but torque is a surprisingly low 51.8Nm developed at 10500rpm. The engine itself was developed and manufactured by Quinjiang. The bike gets some impressive kit like USD Marzocchi forks, twin 320mm discs and Brembo radial mounted calipers.

The company also had another bike on offer - a single cylinder 250cc naked bike called the Uno. The bike is powered by a single cylinder DOHC liquid cooled engine that produces 24.5PS at 9000rpm and 21Nm at 7000rpm. These bikes should be priced very competitively thanks to the Chinese connection.
