Nifty breaks 5630; causes slight concern

The Nifty has broken its 5,630 support and it is grinding around 5,600, even the bond yields have spiked up quite a bit, said Udayan Mukherjee, Managing Editor of CNBC-TV18.

The Nifty has broken its 5,630 support and it is grinding around 5,600, even the bond yields have spiked up quite a bit, said Udayan Mukherjee, Managing Editor of CNBC-TV18. Before the policy, the benchmark yield was at 8.11 percent and that has spiked up to about 8.17 percent.



Bank stocks have taken a bit of a drubbing and despite European markets trading with some strength, it has been a sea of red in the Indian market. Though, it is nothing alarming, but certainly the breach of that range on the way down causes some kind of concern.
