We are coming out of a long weekend. The Nifty has not convincingly closed above the congestion zone of 5,350-5,400 yet, but it has been hovering in that zone with not too much weakness. So, it was a flat week of consolidation, but at the top end of that trading range, said CNBC-TV18 managing editor CNBC-TV18.

As we start off trade today, things have not changed too much. Global markets are absolutely flat and flows remain quite robust. The Asian markets are in bit of a green today.

So, it looks like we will start the day flat like last week and then see whether during the course of the week we can climb above 5,400 level. This week would end with Jackson Hole conference, so there might be some expectations of further global liquidity during the course of the week.
