The 21st century world is in its most dynamic state of change. Institutions, countries and geographies are changing rapidly. From a temperamental world economy to climate change, the challenges in the 21st century are new and very greatly diverse from those faced in the last century.
Sam Pitroda, Co-founder, People for Global Transformation, says, "When I think of what happened in the past, in the 20th century, just after World War 2, handful of people with some clever thinkers decided to build a large number of global insituitions. All of these instituitions served certain interest groups for a long time. In the 21st century, I believe a lot of these instituions don't make that much sense anymore."
People for Global Transformation, an initiative featuring some of the most prominent global thinkers of our time aims to undertake a discourse that looks at development in the 21st century, the challenges, the opportunities and the way forward to achieve an all inclusive sustainable growth.
Jointly chaired by Sam Pitroda and Hubert Vedrine the thinktank aims to be a platform where likeminded global leaders come together to debate issues that have no boundaries.
The thinktank has leaders from all around the world representing a great variety of discipline and academics.
