Chairman and Co-founder of Mindtree, USD 435 million global IT solutions company, Subroto Bagchi is best known as an out of the box management thinker and an astute businessman who was instrumental in reviving the fortunes of the firm when it was hit by the global economic slowdown. Bagchi has created a record in the world of business publishing, having authored five business best-sellers. Bagchi launched his sixth book 'The Elephant Catches' in Bangalore last week. The book deals with the idea of scale and is dotted with anecdotal insights to help organizations when they hit the glass ceiling in their attempts to grow. We caught up with Bagchi at the launch of the book in Bangalore where he engaged Chairman of UIDAI, Nandan Nilekani in a conversation on building up and growing big.
