Priyanka Chopra was ranked eighth last year as well in the coveted list
Priyanka Chopra has officially made it to Forbes’s annual top-10 highest paid TV actresses list yet again after last year.
Chopra, whose acting debut in the West with TV show “Quantico” that although did not fare too well commercially, paved the way for her rise, subsequently landing her the role of an antagonist in the movie “Baywatch”.
With her earning of USD 10 million (Rs 65.77 crore), Priyanka Chopra finds herself in the eighth position on the list nudging "House of Cards" star Robin Wright (USD 9 million) to the ninth spot.
The list has Modern Family star Sofia Vergara on the number one spot.
Sofia Vergara is best known for her portrayal of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family and has topped the list for the sixth year in a row with an impressive earning of USD 41.5 million.
“The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco was second on the list with earnings of USD 26 million.
Ellen Pompeo from Grey’s Anatomy is tied with The Mindy Project star Mindy Kaling for the third position with USD 13 million each.
Law and Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay featured on the fifth spot while Vergara’s Modern Family co-star Julie Bowen was placed sixth with her earnings of USD 12 million.
Kerry Washington from “Scandal” was at the seventh position with USD 11 million earnings, and Pauley Perrette with USD 8.5 million was on number 10.(Currency figures are in 1 $= Rs 65.77)
