LG Nexus 4 Manufacturer: LG Operating System: Android It’s only a matter of time till the LG Nexus 4 becomes the go-to device for anyone looking for a high-end droid without having to break the bank. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus arrived in our grey markets early this year for a similar price at which LG’s Nexus 4 is retailing right now. Within a span of five months, the price was down by 35 percent which stands to reason that given a few more months, the Nexus 4's price should easily drop well under the 30K mark.
HTC Deluxe (AKA HTC Butterfly) Manufacturer: HTC Operating System: Android After teasing the HTC Butterfly on its website a few days ago, HTC officially unveiled its 5-inch handset at an event held in Taipei. This smartphone's specifications are similar to that of the Japan-only HTC J Butterfly and the US-only Droid DNA.

However, its highlights aren’t limited to the processor or the price tag. Micromax has ensured that its A116 Canvas HD users also get a superior set of features like a 5-inch display and an 8 megapixel snapper. It’s nice to see Micromax include an IPS display with HD resolution (which means pixel density of up to 294ppi), while the 8MP snapper with autofocus and LED flash is quite an appreciated feature for a smartphone at this price point.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Manufacturer: Samsung Operating System: Android The Galaxy Grand is Samsung’s attempt to woo those who can’t afford a top-end device like the Galaxy Note II. It costs Rs 21,500, which is almost twice as expensive as its low-cost rivals, but it’s the most-affordable option if you’re looking for a device from a tier 1 brand.
