Sharp Aquos S2 announced with edge-to-edge screen and dual rear cameras

Sharp has announced the launch of its newest smartphone model, the Aquos S2. This is the 29th release of the company that has brought out many high quality smartphones.
The Digit reports that the smartphone has a 5.5 inch full screen display with 2040*1080 pixel resolution. The top of the display is cut in a manner that it looks curved and of unique design.
The dual SIM phone will have two variants. The standard version will have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space while the second version will have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity. Both variants will have an expandable storage space of 128GB.

It comes with the latest Android Nougat 7.1.1 operating system. The 4GB and 6GB variants use Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 and Qualcomm MSM8956 Plus Snapdragon 660 respectively.
Carrying a 3020 mAh battery, the handset comes in four colour variants i.e. white, black, blue and green. The price of the 4GB model is approximately Rs 25000 and that for the 6GB model will be around Rs 35000.Reports say that the Aquos S2 will be initially sold only in China but the sale could be extended globally in a short while.
