Nokia rumoured to launch Lumia 920 in November

One of the biggest talking points at the Nokia World 2012 event was that Nokia had failed to provide a definite date for the purchase of its next generation of Lumia smartphones. A recent report by Reuters had indicated that the handsets would land on shelves by the second week of November in Europe. However, this information was mere hearsay and there was no exact date provided. A recent report by The Verge divulges more information and states that the flagship smartphone, the Lumia 920 will be available in the US on November 2, and may be available via AT&T. This gives us a definite date for this smartphone to become available to the masses.The report by Reuters stated that Nokia will start selling the Lumia 920, its new flagship smartphone using Microsoft's Windows software, in November in European countries, with sources at telecom operators informing them on Friday regarding the same. The report went on to state that an executive at an eastern European operator said he would start sales of the Lumia 920 in the second half of November. He added that larger countries would receive the model earlier that month. A source of Reuters at a Nordic operator said sales at his carrier would start in mid to late November.
