Nokia 8 to be launched on July 31, prices expected to be above Rs. 41,000

The phone, reportedly, is priced in the range of 550-600 Euros. That is, in India, it will be priced at more than Rs 41,000.

As per the latest leak, Nokia's parent company HMD Global will launch its high-end smartphone Nokia 8 on July 31 globally.

The phone is aggressively priced in the range of 550-600 Euros or above Rs 41,000 which is less than other flagship phones by the likes of Apple and Samsung.

According to the German technology website Winfuture which leaked the details, the phone is equipped with Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2.45 gigahertz. Many other popular smartphones like OnePlus 5 currently use this processor.

The phone which will be launched in Europe initially is equipped with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory.

HMD Global is expected to launch a single SIM variant for the model as it has done with earlier models.

As per the report, the phone will come at least in four colour variants—Blue, Silver/steel, Gold and Copper. Rumours had also suggested that the phone would come with dual speakers, iris and fingerprint scanners.
