To improve the employability skills of fresh engineering graduates, information technology training company NIIT has launched a five-semester long course called `Integrated ANIIT for Engineers,' (IAE).

This will target engineering students (mostly from non-IT streams) in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad pursuing the second and third semester of study.

IAE is an evolution of the company's existing four-month IT training programme for fresh engineering graduates, said Mr G. Raghavan, President, Learning Business — NIIT Ltd. "We saw huge demand for this programme and decided to integrate it with mainstream engineering curricula to provide a rounded learning for students," he said.
