LinkedIn, the professional networking service, has come to the iPad and it looks very different from their web service. LinkedIn has completely redesigned itself for the iPad and has become more of a social news gatherer, designed along the lines of Flipboard for the iPad. The professional network currently has 150 million users worldwide and over 14 million in India. Hari V. Krishnan, Country Manager, LinkedIn India says, "At LinkedIn, our focus continues to be on increasing the productivity of our members. We realize that today’s professional workforce is a mobile workforce. Hence, we constantly strive to provide them with simple solutions to achieve success and deliver a seamless LinkedIn experience everywhere." The mobile platform is currently the fastest growing user base at LinkedIn, with 22% of the professional network's travel coming in from mobile devices.
