Homegrown wearables company Goqii has launched a new fitness band called the Goqii version 2. CNBC-TV18’s Megha Vishwanath brings you the first look of this fitness tracker.
The fitness wearable brand has an 18 percent market share in India, second only to Chinese brand Xiaomi.
The new Goqii band slimmer and packs in a bunch of new upgrades as well. It's no longer about just counting your steps and tracking your sleep patterns. Goqii has focused on developing an integrated ecosystem. So this band provides services like Goqii Doctor and Goqii Diagnostics and can also record your medical reports within the health locker feature. For this the company has partnered with Thyrocare and Max Healthcare.
Vishal Gondal, Founder and chief executive, Goqii, said “Our business is to take that data and make sense out of it. the goqii wearable is just an option for our users but they are free to use any wearable be it Fitbit or Google, we look at them as potential partners.”
