Facebook's preparing for its big IPO and one of the concerns that investors have is the iron grip that Mark Zuckerberg has on the social network. However, the company released an addition to its privacy policies on Friday that will further be explained in a conference call later today that indicates that the company will be handing over some decision making control to the users. According to Read Write Web, Facebook has updated their privacy policy to include the following statements: " If we receive more than 7,000 comments concerning a particular change, we will put the change up for a vote. The vote will be binding on us if more than 30% of all active registered users as of the date of the notice vote." |
