The C110 pico-projector is touted as a notebook companion. The projector weighs 175 grams and measures 110 x 85 x 25 mm in dimensions. It needs a single USB cable to connect to the user’s laptop and power the projector while allowing users to show presentations. The projector has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a WVGA (854×480) resolution and a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. Acer’s new ‘SmartFormat’ technology allows instant sync with wide-format displays without resolution adjustments from the notebook. Other features include a boot time of 15 seconds, an eco-efficient LED lamp, and the inclusion of ‘ColorSafe’ and DLP picture technology with 20,000 hours of LED lamp life. Acer also offers an optional 25-inch foldable wrinkle-free screen that doubles the reflectivity compared to standard projector screens.
Acer's K330 Projector
The Acer K330 is an LED projector with a 500 lumen lamp that allows the projector to deliver HD images with more colour saturation. The projector is almost the size of a magazine. As part of the features, the projector can project standard office (Power point, Excel, Word, & PDF) and multimedia files (audio, video and photo) from a USB drive or a SD card connected to the projector. It has a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution, a 4000:1 contrast ratio and has a few more connectivity options besides VGA; with HDMI, composite video inputs, and AV input. The projector weighs 1.24 kg and according to Acer, it has an environment-friendly power management solution that reduces power consumption by up to 70 percent in ExtremeEco mode. The eco-friendly functionality further enhances the lamp life of the projector with features like Auto Shutdown switching the projector to standby mode when there is no signal input.
The Acer C110 is priced at Rs. 15,000 and the Acer K330 is priced at Rs. 54,000.
