Jio network is "future ready" and can be upgraded as technologies advance to 5G, 6G and beyond, the company's report said.
The company had a gross debt of Rs 1,96,601 crore as on March 31, most of which was taken to fund its fourth- generation telecom venture, Reliance Jio.
The company is awaiting approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) for agreements entered into with Reliance Communications (RCom) and its subsidiary Reliance Telecom Ltd (RTL).
Vodafone, on the other hand, said that call connect charge - currently at 14 Paise - is already "below cost" and any further cut in these inter-operator charges could hurt rural coverage.
"The number of telephone subscribers in India increased from 1,194.58 million at the end of March 2017 to 1,198.89 million at the end of April 2017, thereby showing a monthly growth rate of 0.36 per cent," Trai said in its monthly subscriber report.
The average 4G speed in India is one-third of the world average and just one Mbps more than the average global speed for 3G networks.
