Metals stocks are looking weak, says VK Sharma of HDFC Securities.
Sharma told CNBC-TV18, "The signals are confusing because of the Saturday trade which happened on very thin volumes. So it would be wrong for me to give a very clear-cut call based upon that thin trading but the thing to be looked at is if Friday level breaks on the lower side then of course the way the traders are positioned, they are positioned on the lower side."
He further added, "Between infrastructure and metals, I think metal sector looks much weaker. So there is more conviction in terms of selling stocks like Hindalco or buying the puts concerned around the market price. That has more conviction than selling; already these are oversold stocks."
