Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "If you own Tata Motors, you are ought to hold on to it. You should hold on because it's outperforming all its other companies and peers in the sector and also the index."

He further added, "I have to admit also that what it has done from Rs 120 to Rs 800 was not expected and is remarkable. So here is a stock that the market says very good; why should one get out, hold on to it. Its making new highs and it could go and make spectacular numbers, which one cannot imagine, you should find out."

Yesterday the share closed at Rs 761.50, down Rs 9.4, or 1.22%. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 41,422.55 crore.

The company touched its 52 week high Rs 842.00 and 52 week low Rs 146.70 on 05 Jan, 2010 and 12 Mar, 2009, respectively. Currently, it is trading -9.56% below its 52-week high and 419.09% above its 52-week low.
