Greaves Cotton has day target of Rs 304, says Mitesh Thacker , Technical Analyst, miteshthacker.com.

Thacker told CNBC-TV18, "In Greaves Cotton we saw very good price action yesterday with good jump in volumes. Good breakout in the charts after the long consolidation of around 3-4 months. The target for the day is around Rs 304."

At 12:24 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 304.90, up Rs 13.80, or 4.74% with volumes of 185,939 shares. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 1,489.17 crore.

The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 17.24 per share. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 17.69. The latest book value of the company is Rs 82.79 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 3.68. The dividend yield of the company was 1.31%.
