Rajesh Jain of Religare Sec

HCL Tech was holding on yesterday when the markets fell sharply. One can buy the stock keeping stoploss of Rs 420. A closing above Rs 432 can take the stock for a target of Rs 440.

3 days back Cairn India had taken a sharp profit booking on good volumes and yesterday also the stock had a profit taking. One can short at any rally near Rs 345 with a stoploss of Rs 351 for a target of Rs 330.

Rakesh Gandhi of LKP

MRF has been consolidating since last 3 weeks, while the market was going up and now has seen a falling trend line with good volumes. If the stock stays above Rs 7400 it could see levels upto Rs 8500. For a very short term MRF can be bought for a target of Rs 8000 with stoploss of Rs 7450.

Crompton Greaves has reversed the ongoing uptrend while falling below the low before 2 weeks. Now the stock can see further lower levels and can be short for a target of Rs 124 with a stoploss of Rs 135.

Vishal Kshatriya of Edelweiss

My first pick for the day is going short on Jaiprakash Associates . Yesterday the stock has formed a bearish candlestick pattern on its daily charts. Momentum oscillators on daily charts have also given a sell signal. Open Interest data indicates aggressive short build up in the counter. I am expecting stock to trade with a negative bias in days to come. Traders can go short at CMP with target of Rs 62 and stoploss above Rs 68.50.

My second pick for the day is going long on Tata Global . Overall trend in the counter is positive which is depicted by formation higher tops and higher bottoms placed on its daily chart, besides this stock continues to trade above 200 DMA. Short term oscillators have given a buy signal. Traders can go long at CMP with target of Rs 106 and stoploss at Rs 94.
