Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "Sun Pharma Advanced Research is a buy. On the daily charts, on the longer term chart it is coming out of a very big trading range. You could make money at current levels and whether you are an investor or short term position trader you would like to buy it."

Sun Pharma Adv has touched an intraday high of Rs 104.30 and an intraday low of Rs 99.05. At 13:31 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 101.90, up Rs 3.85, or 3.93% with volumes of 2,130,942 shares.

Market capitalisation stands at Rs 2,110.52 crore.

The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 0.08 per share. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 1,273.75. The latest book value of the company is Rs 1.72 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 59.24.
