Axis Bank |

Sudarshan Sukhani, Technical Trends is of the view that ICICI Bank and Axis Bank are two potentially short selling candidates.

Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "Yesterday the bank-Nifty fell much more than the broader Nifty. The Nifty is also being held at current levels but the banks are clearly telling us that after a fairly decent period of outperformance, they are now ready for a correction. In fact it is quite possible that the market may remain steady or even go up by some points while the banks could continue falling. So I would feel that banks are a selling opportunity for professional traders. ICICI Bank and Axis Bank - Axis is my choice for the day - these are two very potentially short selling candidates."
