Irani told CNBC-TV18, "I have always been very vocal and stating that I have been very positive on the media pack but definitely entire media pack some select companies in that and UTV is one of the companies, I love the stock, I love the company. The business model has undergone a tremendous change and while UTV there could be the skeptics who would say that the valuations are expensive. Let's understand one thing, let's look at the growth ahead, let's look at the numbers over the last two quarters that the company has announced. Therefore for me I don't feel that valuations are expensive."
He further added, "The media as a space to be in and there are whole lot of companies in them but there are the few which stand out and UTV is one of the top five companies at least in my list. So UTV even at the present level I won't look back, I would still say that it's a good bet even at the present price because I feel that this company especially in what it is doing, in terms of even film distribution and full marks to Ronnie Screwvala and his team and I personably feel UTV as a stock has a long way to go and the investors should not bother with minor correction here and there."
