Tulsian told CNBC TV18, "Dhampur Sugar, if you take the case of U.P. Sugar Mills, they are definitely will be having the better June quarter because all of them are carrying the inventory, in case of Balrampur Chini , they are carrying inventory for next two quarters, while in case of Bajaj Hindusthan it is for maybe about for 1-1.5 quarter. Same thing will apply for Dhampur Sugar also because Dhampur is in top 5 larger sugar mill companies."
He further added, "So going forward maybe one quarter will be very good, but I don't think that they will really be having comfort going forward at least for the 3rd quarter and as you have rightly said one has to really look for the monsoon to take a call on their next season whether we will be seeing a production of 23 or 24 million tonne. But I don't think that one can really take a call at this stage. But yes, I don't think that there is any attraction in these sugar stocks especially the UP based sugar mills."
