Investment Advisor, Sharmila Joshi has given FY10 estimated EPS of about Rs 40 to Transformers and Rectifiers India . She said this was good for about Rs 480 in the long-term.
Joshi told CNBC-TV18, “I have chosen to buy Transformers and Rectifiers India. This I bought with a target price of Rs 378. This is the manufacturer of transformers, furnace transformers; they are the largest manufacturer of that and also specialty transformers where their margins are slightly higher.” She further added, “So this is the stock which has a fairly good order book of more than Rs 5,000 million and they have tripled their manufacturing capacity to about 23,200 MVA. This higher capacity will stand them in good state, in an environment where a lot of competition and a lot pricing pressures. So I think this higher volume will also stand them in good state. I am giving this stock FY10 estimated EPS of about Rs 40. I think this is good for about Rs 480 in the long-term. But I have given a day target of Rs 378.”
