Amit Dalal of Amit Nalin Securities is of the view that telecom stocks will continue to perform and give us numbers, which are exciting for investors.

Dalal told CNBC-TV18, "Reliance Communications is not perhaps the easiest stock to buy when it has gone up so much already. But telecom has been a positive surprise for us for the last 18 months. Each and every stock, whether it is Bharti or Idea or Rel Com, they continue to grow, they continue to give us operating margins which far exceed our expectations, even though the subscriber base is at the bottom of the pyramid now. So given that, I don’t see why Rel Com should be singled out as not an opportunity which will give us appreciation from here."

He further added, "There is story building up of a de-merger possibility in all the telecom stocks for the infrastructure that they carry and that should pan out in the next 12 months. So I think maybe there will be a correction, but I think they will continue to perform and give us numbers, which are exciting for investors."
