Sharmila Joshi of Asit C Mehta is of the opinion that one should switch from Escorts to commercial vehicles play like Ashok Leyland or even a Tata Motors.
Joshi told CNBC-TV18, "Given the fact that Escorts is in the tractor space. It should have made the stock very attractive because, in the Budget there are lots of positive news flows for companies. And we have seen that whether it is Punjab Tractors or the Tractor India , they have had a fabulous run up."
Further she added that, "Escorts have been bogged by a lot of other issues. There has been some fighting, some other litigation, and other queries regarding the sell that they made of Escort's heart institute. So according to me one should switch out of this and maybe get into another tractor play or even another four-wheeler play, maybe commercial vehicles play like Ashok Leyland or even a Tata Motors ."
