Suresh Mahadevan of UBS Securities is positive on State Bank of India (SBI).

Mahadevan told CNBC-TV18, "We are positive on State Bank of India and negative on all the other names but on the bank side we are quite positive on the private sector names. Usually the safe ones like HDFC Bank, we also like ICICI Bank, Federal Bank, IndusInd Bank, our analyst also like Yes Bank, so there are lot of private sector names we like."

He further added, "Also Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) is something we like on the public sector side but it is more like very deep value at 0.6-0.7 times book. But other than OBC and SBI we are quite negative on all the other PSU Banks."
