Suresh Mahadevan , HOR at UBS Securities is neutral on NTPC .

Mahadevan told CNBC-TV18, "We do cover NTPC as a company and currently we are kind of neutral on that because in power space we like Adani Power, Lanco or even Tata Power. So those kind of are our picks there in the power space."

At 12:02 pm, NTPC was quoting at Rs 202.40, with volumes of 139,582 shares. Its marketcap is of Rs 166,888.20 crore. Currently it is 17.71% above the 52-week low of Rs 171.95.
