Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com is upbeat on Cairn India and ONGC .

Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, " Suzlon Energy at current levels suggests lower prices are coming, so does GMR Infra . My point is something else. Short selling requires a considerable amount of expertise and tactics. So for stocks that have fallen for two or three days I don't know whether you can actually short sell at current levels and then get through a trade. Ideally these will be short sells on a rally when we will start saying, okay the worst is over. But in my sense for infrastructure stocks the worst is not over yet."

He further added, " BPCL was also a buy today morning and surprisingly with crude going up I am remaining upbeat on Cairn and ONGC. BPCL has added itself to the list of strong stocks and strong charts and there is buying possible even now. I think that it's probably news related but the charts are willing to say that it's likely to go up further."

Disclosure: I do not have a personal holding in the above stocks.
