Sukhani prefers IOB, Vijaya Bk from PSU banking space

Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “The Bank Nifty has been an outperformer and it should remain so in this leg. So somebody who buys Bank Nifty can get it better in terms of percentages. We can refine this further and I could suggest that perhaps buying PSU banks could give even greater returns although they are now shifting from indices to individual stocks. But the Bank Nifty is likely to outperform.”

He further added, “I would go for Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), Vijaya Bank and Canara Bank. It is any of them. I have been saying that PSU banks are the best buy for the last seven-eight days that still remains. So it could be IOB, Vijaya Bank and Canara Bank, it is a choice. I am going with Canara Bank but it doesn’t make a difference.”
