Ashish Kapoor , CEO of Investshoppe is of the view that one should stay invested in Bajaj Auto .

Kapoor told CNBC-TV18, "Bajaj Auto will probably remain underperformer for sometime. They are broadening their portfolio of products. They have launched a new autorickshaw RE GDi, which is low on emission and better on fuel efficiency. They have also planned a new small car launch, which should happen in 2009. So lot of excitement happening."

He further added, "The two-wheeler industry itself is not doing very well and Bajaj Auto in particular has suffered because of delay in launch of their new model XCD 125. But having launched the model now and the new products, which they are planning, this still remains a good stock for a long-term investor. So stay invested in it. Probably in the next few quarters it will still remain flat but with the two-year kind of horizon it still remains a very good stock to have in your portfolio."

Disclosure: Analyst doesn't hold the above stock.
