Manish Sonthalia of Motilal Oswal Securities is positive on banking space.
Sonthalia told CNBC-TV18, "We have remained quite positive on the banking sector as a whole. The sector by itself has outperformed the benchmark indices. The other sector that we are very comfortable is the telecom space and big names like Bharti etc would be the ones to reckon. So the topline and the bottomline growth remain perfectly intact in both these sectors. So these would be the two safest sectors if one were to look at in current situation for the long-term."
