Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "Generally when market momentum is fairly strong on the upside, shorting is not a good idea because now we are going against the momentum, that's never a good thing. It's always easier to buy when the markets are going up."
He further added, "In sugar today Shree Renuka and Balrampur are both short selling candidates. It's possible that we may see a deep correction in both stocks and infrastructure where somebody needs to take a little more risk but that could be taken by buying puts rather than selling futures. GMR, IVRCL, even GVK Power now appear to be shorting candidates or getting ready for a decline."
