Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "I am uncomfortable with the Nifty. All the Nifty heavyweights are suggesting that there is more downside coming. HDFC unfortunately has been my favourite but that doesn't mean anything. It has been trading in a narrow range irrespective of what it does in the first hour or half hour that is a different issue. There seems to be more downside."
He further added, "For professional traders it is a selling opportunity rather than a buy. One should go and sell HDFC, keep a stoploss of Rs 2,425 or something like that and then look for a small decline Rs 2,300-2,330 but the trend is on the downside."
