Gaurang Shah of Geojit Financial Services is of the view that one should switch to Punjab Tractor, Syndicate Bank from Escorts.
Shah told CNBC-TV18, "Escorts has been an underperformer when it comes to vis-à-vis the Nifty. But the company is trying hard its plan to sell on 42000 to 47000 tractors for FY05,FY06,FY07 and is trying to concentrate more on the exports but here is nothing much happening. Possibly a switch to Punjab Tractor or to Syndicate Bank which looks attractive in the small bank sector. I would advise a switch."
