Prefer Jagran Prakashan to Sun TV , says Devang Mehta of Anand Rathi Financial Services.

Mehta told CNBC-TV18, "Sun TV- on every front ad revenues grew, the EBITD also grew and also the subscription revenues for the company were good but because of the news flow that is currently surrounding the company and the political environment in which the company operates I guess it is better not to be in a stock though I do not deny that the fundamentals of the stock are good and somebody who is a long term investor and who can bear the volatility of a stock, such a high beta stock, could stay invested. But for a conservative investor if he wants to have a sound sleep in night he should switch to a stock like Jagran Prakashan, which is in print media and one of the leading daily circulator of Dainik Jagran."

He further added, "The stock fundamentals are extremely good and on valuation parameters also it is trading at a historically low PE valuation since its listing. I guess it would be prudent to switch to Jagran Prakashan for safety as well as for long term capital gains."
