Investment Advisor, PN Vijay is of the view that one should look at oil marketing companies especially IOC very seriously.
Vijay told CNBC-TV18, "We are seeing tremendous buying coming into oil companies and to some extent I am almost seeing as if they are back to the good old 1998-99 days when they were the darlings of the market."
He further added, "I think the Prime Minister was saying from the Red Fort that one will have to gulp a few more price increases, which has set the positive tone and of course the global prices easing somewhat has also buttressed us. Going forward one should start looking at oil marketing companies especially Indian Oil Corporation, IOC, very seriously."
