Vidur Pendharkar, Fortis Securities, is of the opinion that in the short term, investors must keep a stoploss of Rs 360-365 in Tata Power . He advices them to book profits and shift to other stocks.
Pendharkar told CNBC-TV18, "In the medium term, you will find it moving side ways and Rs 393 will be a strong resistance area in the immediate scenario. If it crosses this then we could see it going up to Rs 410-Rs 423 which was a recent high."
He said, "In the short term you can keep a stoploss of Rs 360-365 and the investor could book some profits and shift to NTPC, which will give good returns in the medium to long term.
"In the long term the stock looks to be in uptrend," he concluded.
