Kapoor told CNBC-TV18, "The results of M&M were as expected a bit soft and given the interest rate situation and the fact that the automotive industry has been going through sort of a slowdown this was not an unexpected. So the stock has been an under performer for the past several months now and given the fact that interest rates are relatively high and I think the stock is going to remain an under performer sometime more and one could see a bit more downside from here. But for the long-term it's a good company, its in good businesses, its growing its portfolio very rapidly. So if one is a long-term investor probably one could think of investing in this stock either now or maybe 5% below these levels."
