Mehraboon Irani of Darashaw & Company is of the view that one can continue to hold Infosys .
Irani told CNBC-TV18, "I personally feel the frontline IT heavyweights will continue to under perform, will continue to move in a narrow range possibly leading to lot of people losing their patience, as to what is happening to a great company like Infosys; it's a great company and sooner or later this phase will pass. But for sometime this stock should underperform according to me and I would not be in a hurry to buy this stock."
He further added, "The midcap IT companies especially some of the IT product companies like Northgate Technologies, Geodesic or computer education company like Educomp Solutions, NIIT, Aptech look more interesting to me from a shorter-term angle also."
"Infosys is a great company, all the four top heavyweights are wealth creators One can continue to hold on Infosys but if one is losing patience and looking out for opportunities, can move on to some computer education company or something like a Northgate Technologies or Geodesic."
