Vijay told CNBC-TV18, "The news that the government is going for disinvestment has totally changed the outlook on Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals because from now on it will become a disinvestment play. On the fundamentals, I would not recommend it because that sector is getting pricing pressures and one would not buy that but when you do a privatization, a tremendous value gets unlocked by potential bidders and you get an open offer, so that is really driving the stock and the person should just hold the stock."
