Gujral told CNBC-TV18, "All financials stocks have corrected quite a bit and with markets at 5,300, brokerages tend to come back into flavour, so buy Geojit BNP with a stoploss of about Rs 34. Short-term target could be Rs 42. JM Financials and Geojit could head towards Rs 50 in case the market sustains 5,300."

Yesterday the share closed at Rs 36.55, up Rs 3.50, or 10.59%. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 820.54 crore.

The company touched its 52 week high Rs 52.50 and 52 week low Rs 19.50 on 05 Jun, 2009 and 31 Mar, 2009, respectively. Currently, it is trading -30.38% below its 52-week high and 87.44% above its 52-week low.

The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 2.23 per share. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 16.39. The latest book value of the company is Rs 12.24 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 2.99. The dividend yield of the company was 1.37%.
